The Art of Fragrance

If you aren't already familiar with the world of Lampe Berger, there is no time like the present to change that!

As consumers, we are inundated every day with advertisements for products designed to fill the home with fragrance and cover household odors. Some even claim to disinfect and get rid of odor and bacteria.

Lampe Berger takes this one step further by actually purifying the air through a process involving a patented catalytic burner, invented by Maurice Berger in 1989. This ensures that most odors (even stubborn ones) are eliminated completely in under 30 minutes. Originally designed as a method to disinfect hospital rooms, the company has reinvented themselves and become an international bestseller.

Here are Rousseau's, we are just crazy about this product! In addition to each of us having at least two lamps in our own homes, there is almost always a fragrance burning in the store. This gives us a great opportunity to test out new fragrances and weed out a few that haven't been so well received. While of course each of the scents is lovely on it's own, we love experimenting with our favourites to create something completely personal and original. Below are some staff approved blends to inspire you!

If you love all things fresh and clean, this combo is for you. Guests will think you just set down the mop and bucket, and we promise we won't tell otherwise!

Reminiscent of sweet Christmas treats, this blend is a holiday crowd-pleaser.

Betty's selection is not for the faint of heart, but perfect for those who tend to enjoy a musky or spicy fragrance. Notes of sandalwood, amber, and leather assist in creating these unique fragrances.

Paula is a purist and prefers to dilute her oils with So Neutral - completely fragrance free with all the same odor-killing and disinfecting results.

Brenda is our resident paragon of Christmas spirit, so it comes as no surprise that she chose this fusion of evergreen with a hint of spice.

If you enjoy sweet fragrances with an unexpected twist, you will love this pairing. With notes of blackcurrant and other delicious fruits, Black Pomegranate adds a kick to the otherwise soft and warm Vanilla Gourmet.
