Spot the Lee!

LEE Industries is one of our favourite brands, and since LEE's line of sofas and chairs are on sale NOW, I thought I'd share with you how LEE looks in actual homes.

Let's start with this Swedish inspired interior by Loi Thai. He chose LEE's traditional petite chair in linen to flank the fireplace.

This  sitting room was designed by Michael Hampton for the DC Design House, the show stopper daybed is by LEE.

Kristen Carson designed this colourful and easy-going room with a pair of LEE wingchairs and leather tufted ottoman.

A slipcovered apartment sofa by LEE is spotted in this living room published by At home in Arkansas.

The shelter sofa in this image styled by Diane Carroll is by LEE.

Melanie Turner chose bold yellow fabric for LEE's Bongo stools for this gorgeous kitchen.

How about this bold room designed by Antony Todd sporting a fabulous armless sofa by LEE!

Jim Howard furnished this room with LEE's sofas in chocolate brown slipcovers.

And this dark grey sofa is by LEE in a custom home in Arkansas, designed by Bear Hill Interiors.

This traditional look was accomplished with a LEE sofa by Rousseau's staff Orsi Panos.

LEE Bongo stools add a whimsical touch in a living room decorated by Rousseau's Louise Grifiin.

A smart LEE sectional was the right fit for a recroom in a Whitby home decorated by Rousseau's Peggy Gillis.

A pair of LEE wing chairs flank this Pickering dining table decorated by Rousseau's Orsi Panos.

LEE is available through Rousseau's at 30% during the Fall Special Order Sale until Nov 9th. Stop in and talk to us about how you envision a little bit of LEE in your home.

Staff picks

When new shipment arrives, we get crazy excited about all the new goodies, but never as excited, as when a fresh batch of accessories land in our store.
Here is our TOP 5 PICKS of the moment:

#1

These glass cloches, aka valencia domes are our number #1 pick. If you are a decor magazine reader, you know they are a hot trend. What we love about them is that you can change the displayed items under the lid from season to season. Branches for fall, Christmasy things for the holiday season, shells for the summer and so on. ( $38 & up)

#2

We have always loved ginger jars, they are a classic. However, these two french lidded pots look like they were picked from a french farmhouse. They have patina, the unique lids add an eye-catching element, and of course we love the french labels. Put them on top of an armoire to create height in a room, place them together in a corner to fill in void space, or add them to your bathroom decor for a sense of warmth. So many ways of using them!
($220 & up)

#3

These doggie bookends have been the talk of town around here since they arrived, for so many reasons. First off, brass is hot, hot, hot! Second, they are shaped artfully in a modernist way. They are not cutesy, but will make you smile when you look at them. And finaly, these bookends really do their job, they are heavy, so they will hold hold up your books from toppling over. ($297)

#4

With wet fall arriving imminently, having your umbrella right by the door in a pretty umbrella stand would make life so much easier and prettier. Wouldn't it? Made of ceramic with black print and design, these practical and statement making vessels are suited for anyone's home. If you are a fan of penguins, we have one (1!) with penguins on it. ($80)

#5

Last, but not least... we love these tufted, french mattress style floor pillows!  If you have little ones who like to read on the floor, if you live in a small space and would like extra seating, for an existing wicker chair, for window seats, or... the list goes on! So many possibilities for these cool cushions! ( $49)
